Mixing Driving You Crazy?

Hi, I’m Ed, I’m a record producer / mixing engineer type guy. I love mixing and I also love sharing and teaching.

So many artists love making their own music but when they compare their latest mix to their favorite songs they fall flat. After endless tweaking or spiralling through Youtube content songs get abandoned. It’s like the process of finishing a mix saps out all the fun.

That’s why I started Mixing Hertz. It’s more than just offering tutoring and mixing services. It’s a community centred around helping DIY artists and home producers finish more music. Sign up to one of the free workshops. Or get some free resources and improve your mixes right away.

Stay sane and sound good…

Mixing music at home can be hard. EQ, compression, and other technical steps can be confusing and frustrating. My interactive workshops and personalised sessions build your skills step by step, giving you the confidence to create release-ready mixes yourself.

Take control of your music production journey with Mixing Hertz, where mixing is accessible, achievable, and rewarding.

About Me

As an engineer and producer my priority is creating an atmosphere where artists feel comfortable. It’s important that my clients get the most from our sessions whether we’re co writing, mixing or having a lesson.

It doesn’t matter whether you have 1 fan or 1 million, for me it’s all about the music. I consider myself very lucky to be a part of anyone’s musical journey. That said a little name dropping always helps in the music industry so… Previous clients include Goat Girl, Shame, Frank Turner, NOFX, The Lottery Winners, Dirty Blonde, As It Is, Skinny Lister, Rough Trade, Island Records, Universal, Sony, Warner, EMI and RedBull.

I have been lucky enough to collaborate with artists who have:

  • Charted at number 1 in the Official UK Independent Charts

  • Reached number 1 in the Official iTunes Album Chart

  • Charted in the Top 10 Official UK Albums Chart

  • Won Q Awards Best Breakthrough Act

  • Broadcasts; 6 Music, Radio 1, Amazing Radio, Channel 4, BBC, ESPN and more

  • Achieved multi-million streams and featured on official Spotify playlists

The proof is in the pudding

Have a listen, if there’s anything you like I can tell you how I helped on that project.
